The scene outside the Supreme Court this morning. A historic day in the fight for equality!

I’m excited and nervous about this

The best kind of friend is the one that will sit on one end of the couch reading a book, while you sit on the other end of the couch reading another book, and then you eat pizza.

Reading progress

Just kidding, I like it.

Reading progress update again

Finished Xenocide and it was…okay. I had to get through reading about characters I disliked (Qing-jao, namely) but it started getting more interesting about halfway through, then it ended kind of abruptly. the flash forward for Qing-jao made me think that the rest of the story was just…over. But Children of the Mind picks it back up. The beginning of Children of the mind doesn’t make much sense so far. The conversation I just read between Ender and Novinha seems to ignore the conversation they had near the end of Xenocide. And I don’t like it, but I don’t like Novinha at all (I always find it more annoying when I dislike characters I think the author intends for me to like). So…I don’t know about this one so far, but obviously I want some resolution to the previous book’s conflicts. I guess I’ll see.
